History ​​​

We are a third-generation ministry family that has learned to appreciate and understand the importance of rest.

Gilgal has been operating out of our home as a personal ministry for over two decades.  Recently, we established Gilgal-Rest as a non-profit ministry in loving memory of our Father, a church Pastor for 50 years, and our Mother, who served alongside him for 40 years. 

 

They have now both entered eternal rest, and their Kingdom work is a legacy that will live on for generations.  Our family continues in Christian church ministry to this day. 

 

Prioritizing rest does not come naturally for most people; however, the Lord is clear about the importance of rest throughout the Bible.  Obedience to this command brings blessings, mental and physical health benefits, and allows space and time to reconnect with God, which is a gift.

Mission​

We are on a mission to provide a place of rest, as affordably as possible, for those who serve the body of Christ.  Our goal is to purchase a ministry home on the Suncoast of Southwest Florida, to host Christian Ministers and their families on a weekly, year-round schedule. ​​​​
